Fora is the collective name for a set of products and services (the “Services”) designed by Logiciel, Inc. ("Logiciel") for B2B and B2C. It encompasses a web portal (www.gofora.net, the “Site”) for business users (the
“Merchant”) to manage and publish content (products, services, promotions, catalog, flash sales … etc. ) and transact with their customers (the “Customers”), a marketplace platform to expose their business to the
Fora community and Apps (the “App”) to engage their customers on their mobile device.
For the customers, Fora is the gateway to their personal marketplace populated only with Merchants they chose to associate with where they can browse and shop their products on their mobile device.
In order to use Fora, you must first register as a Fora user (“User”) online. Registration requires just a valid email address or phone number and set up a password. User who owns a business can register to create a Fora business
account to publish content such as product and services and invite their customers to follow.
Information We Collect
User: We will not share your email or phone number provide during registration as a Fora user with anyone.
Merchant: If you opted in to list your business on the Fora Marketplace, your company information will be shared and accessible to all Fora Users who request the information. The shared information includes
only general information about the company, the type of product you sell and your contact information. Product information you wish to share with your customers is controlled by you.
Customer: If you initiate a “Request for invite” from a Merchant, your contact information plus your product preferences will be shared with the Merchant in order for them to process your request. Logiciel
will not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. Logiciel may provide your personal data to the proper authority upon request for use in preventing or investigating illegal activities,
threats and services usage violation.
How long we retain your information
User: Your Fora account will never expire. We will retain your email or Phone number associated with your Fora account for as long as your account is active. To delete your Fora account, you must first terminate
all associations with your Merchants by requesting your account be erased from their record. Then click this Link to proceed to delete your Fora Account.
Merchant: Fora will keep your information and your customers’ information for as long as you maintain your account with us. You can terminate your account by signing in to your Fora site as the Agent of the business
and go to Company > Account Maintenance to terminate your account. It could take up to 45 days after receiving your confirmation for the account termination to take effect, during which you are still liable to all account charges.
When your account is terminated, all your customer's info will be anonymized and the data will be archived for up to 1 year after which all data under your account will be purged and no record of you and your customers will be
retained. Customer – Your personal information is provided to the Merchant by you. As the controller of your data, the Merchant controls how long your information will be retained in Fora.
However, you can opt out of the Merchant's system and have your personal data be erased by deleting the Merchant's App on your mobile device. When you delete the App, the merchant will be notified by Fora and the Merchant is to
give the approval to delete your personal data. The actual data erasure will depend upon the Merchant's data retention policy and you are responsible to follow up directly with the Merchant.
You may terminate your Fora business account at any time by signing on to your company portal using the account agent's credential. Proceed to System Setup, Company, and Account Maintenance and click on the “Terminate account”
button to proceed. Fora will send you an email to confirm to complete the termination process. It might take up to 45 business days to terminate your account and you are still liable for any unpaid invoice and charges
incurred up to the time of termination.
Fora will notify you when your personal data is erased. Your personal data with the Merchant will also be erased when the Merchant terminated their account in the Fora Platform.
Your account with Fora and thus your profile is password protected. We assume no liability for the abuse of login data and password used. If you made credit card purchases on the Apps, our credit card processing vendor – Worldpay
(www.worldpay.com) is certified as compliant with all current credit card associations' security initiatives.
Security measures are in place to protect your credit card information during and after the transaction is completed. Credit card transactions are tokenized and Fora does not store any of your credit card information.
Links to Third-Party Sites
Fora might include links to other websites, whose privacy policies may be different from Fora's. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Disclosure of Information
or safety. This information will be disclosed under the applicable laws and regulations. We may also share the collected information with third parties assisting our business operations under contract, including
but not limited to fraud investigations and debt collections with law enforcement if required by law and with other business entities should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity.
We may occasionally need to update this policy. If we do, we will post the new policy on the Site and on the Apps. Changes will be effective upon the posting of the new policy. You are responsible for reviewing
and becoming familiar with any changes, therefore it is important that you review this policy regularly to ensure that you are aware of any changes. Your use of Fora following the changes constitutes your acceptance
of the updated policy and bound by any such changes.
